It’s always encouraging when our hard work and best-in-class products are acknowledged by influential industry watchers.
We’re pleased to announce that Forum recently received that kind of endorsement from Government Security News (GSN) via a pair of GSN’s prestigious Homeland Security Awards.
Lauded for the Identity Management and Privileged Access Management capabilities of the Forum Sentry API Security Gateway, we’ve been presented with a Silver and Gold award, respectively.
Now in its 9th year, the awards program identifies the most technologically innovative solutions that meet the current and future needs of government IT and security. The annual selection process celebrates distinguished cybersecurity research and product development from vendors and government agencies alike.
According to this year’s judging panel, “Each year the quality and scope of the submissions make it more difficult to judge…The approaches and methods sometimes differ among the entries and that is largely because they are highly focused on their specific client needs.”
Forum Systems’ goal has always been to provide customers with a network architecture that’s security-hardened and trusted – with Forum Sentry solving all API security challenges. That’s why the company’s products have been the security foundation in global network architectures for more than 15 years. It’s also why Forum Sentry – which processes and secures 10+ billion transactions per day for U.S. federal agencies, foreign governments/agencies, and global enterprises – is regularly introducing new features and functionality to stay ahead of our customers’ ever-changing security needs.
To that point, we recently introduced new capabilities that include support for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) deployments, a REST API for autonomous provisioning in virtual, cloud and containerized environments, and richer analytics and compliance capabilities.
In addition to recognition from GSN (2017 and 2016), Forum Sentry has also received accolades via the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards and American Security Today’s Homeland Security Awards.
